i heard of some albino clown for sale the other day, is there anyone else out there who has heard of them and does anyone know where they are available?? i am deadly serious about getting some.
PLEASE DON'T FILL THIS THREAD WITH "I WISH I HAD SOME OF THOSE" COMMENTS!
never heard of them ever. are they a rediculous amount of cash. sounds odd to me. sure they are clown loaches

Yeah about an inch more a less, £40. was four but they were all sold!!! i almost had a hissy fit in the middle of the shop. i have been secretly after some for lil while but not done much to try and find them because i thought it would be a pointless mission, but now i seen them, i am gonna make it my goal to get some, i am gonna eventually have em in with me big boys, 8+ inch 7+inch and 5+inch and about 13 other little guys ranging from 2 inch to 4 inch. gonna look PHAT!!!

i think 40 quid for an albino loach would be a steal. maybe im not in the know, but are you sure about it? i could imagine they would reach top end money

didnt mean to sound like that lol, its just i have never heard of them ever and i visit a lot of jap sites, and i would imagine albinos would be very popular. anyway, if you can i would definately try and get some

yea i heard of that place, never been though, to far for me. think its in practical fishkeeping top 20 in UK

Its really good. Only seen rays in one other place in london. He's got Baby rtc's and tsn's.
I got my jag, Gts and JD there. He can order in Blue Dempsey's also. Loads of Sterbai Corys and big too. I haven't seen them anywhere else in London.
Wouldn't surprice me that he had albino CL's! I think his name is Terry. He's good.

yeah young and old terry lol funny guys!! very good shop, don't think they know me that well but i like the establishment a lot!! seen some weird and wonderfuls in there all the time

I'm VERY skeptical that they are albino clown loaches just based on the fact that I've never seen one. Not on the internet or in person. I just think they don't exist.

well after reading this thread and i know the owners of wholsale tropicals very very well i called them today and asked if they have EVER had albino CL for sale and they said NO THEY HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN THEM :D
so their is no truth in this claim of seeing them for sale for £40

I would think that there has to be an albino clown loach. But, since pretty much all clown loaches are wild caught, they do not survive in the wild. If someone was able to captive breed clown loaches, then you would start seeing them pop up.
I guess that gives me something to shoot for in the future.

That’s just saved me a phone call I was just about to phone my dad and ask him to get Terry to save me some next time they come in.:(
The only Albino Loaches i have see in years ar sold as gold or albino loach are Dojo loach(Misgurnus anguillicaudatus ) Was it one of those?????
But then again they don’t look a bit like a clown i wish he had got some pictures :irked:
theres also the royal clown loachs and i think they have a couple of other clown loaches os their common name, but not botia macracanthus. if you can find a pic of an albino clown loach i will aplaud you because i cant find one
