urm he killed the two glass knive fish in the pic, but other than them only the live shrimp and feeders we keep him occupied with. the glass knife fish got it unfortunately because in the night the 2 eels got the shrimp before him.

I think that makes four of us from Essex on here.

I am a regular to Southend-on-sea, heard of Romford?

Stupid question have I heard of romford, of course I have its near Clacton on sea:ROFL: . Maybe its just the Essex ppl who love monster more

DOES ANYONE have experiences in keeping Jardini Arowana's ????

I can get a 8-10" for £60 but want to know if it will go well with the others.

D & V

Joshy

Haha good old Clacton-on-sea!

I have not kept a Jardini, but done tons of research after interest.
They are totally solo fish, very few will tolerate tank mates.
So unless you got a tank to offer just to him in the likely case, i would give him a pass.
Very good price though i recon!

Ha i just remembered Dan is from Essex as well (the MFK monster supplier). So that makes 5 of us, i definably recon us Essex chaps got a thing for the tank busters apposed to your bread and butter fish.

Ah on the note of bread and butter fish, have you been to Wet Pets in Romford by any chance?

bane579
11-17-2006, 4:18 AM
Nah I hav'nt seen wet pets is it good. lol us essex gys and their monster fish yippeee

Joshy
11-17-2006, 11:15 AM
Wet Pets is out of this world.
It looks so god damn small on the outside, but it goes back further than the eye can see.
Fantastic in stocking as well, especially if you are into salt-water.
They occasionally have some monsters, but it’s mostly bread and butter fish. But every bread and butter fish you can think of.
A fantastic plant selection as well, really worth checking it out.
So where do you get most of your stock from?

Hi, still thinking about the Pearl are you? Not a good idea for the com tank.

The one I had from 2inch untill 16 odd inches was a rarety in that it didn't kill my com fish, the only reason I believe it was so well behaved was because it grew up with these fish from a tidler.

How is the pond design coming on?

Welcome! I'm martin from kent. that makes 3 of us from kent with puffer xtreme and chilled tim against the 5 of essex. that makes 8 from the south east so shows we're not all southern softies keeping guppies!

I'd strongly recommend tropical importers uk aka dangerous dan for buying oddballs, he's got some black aro's at the moment. far more compatible than the jardini, ask puffer xtreme about the jardini, he had a beast of one at ark aquatics in chartham, kent.

I keep sa/ca cichlids, polys, channa and now recently dats plus a few other odds like a mbu, fig 8, flagtail and a few cats.

Don't know about you lot, but I am not too soft to keep guppies… As breeding feeders for the true monsters of course hehe!

lol I'm still looking at which is best for feeders am kinda settling on convicts. I'm not ashamed of saying I keep Zebra Danio's, Cardinals & Black Widow Tetras but they are for colouration for my 2 lil boys to look at though.
