I just did this with some kelberi and a 8 " orino and i got scared make sure you feed them well before introducing him into the tank but i have mine in a 150 with 6" now instead in the 350 with the big group was to scary for me i would say you will have a problem but all fish are different

I would say no just cause it is taking a risk

and i wouldn't even say yes with lots of decor these are preditors and will wait out there meals and when that mono is hungry and your not there orino comes out of hiding and baM!!!!!!! expensive meal if you wanna feed live just get danios :) much cheaper

a few intimidating nips no real strikes and I realized I cant watch these fish all the time so I took him out and put him in my 75g planted tank with a 13" LF albino oscar. Things should be okay for them if I notice problems in there then the oscar is getting moved to the 210

All you can do is give it a try. They may very well coexist together with problems.

My kelberi are outgrowing my orinos, they are around 12" while my orinos are around 8". At one point the kelberi were just a tad bit smaller than the orinos, but they eat tons of massivore every day. The orinos eat 1-2 massivores/day and sometimes don't take any interest in the food. The smaller two orinos get picked on all the time by the kels and often will have nipped fins/tails. Planning on moving the trio into my the 150 once the azuls/monos are big enough to go into the 240. Also getting a 225 this spring (have the money), just need to figure out the best way to pick it up from california, get it into my house, and rearranging all my tanks to maximize on living room space.
