So at work we have a red tiger oscar and an albino tiger oscar in the same tank, not to long ago they started moving the gravel around in their tank. I noticed today that they have layed eggs.

Will these guys look any differnt that the parents, half white half black?

Pics would be nice, just curious.

its like a big DNA pyramid... 50% may be albino and the other could be all different... who knows, there are infinite possibilities!! good luck, and get a few for free...;)

i have no were to house them, and it is a fish store so they probably charge me for them neways.

I have 2 blk common oscars and a tiger will they breed with each other?

Get your own thread.

the oscars ate their eggs i guess they werent fertilized. Better luckl next time i guess.

The young would be either 1/2 albino or all red tiger depending on the genetics of the red tiger

i dont think that you would get a blending of colors.maby if you got a lemon oscar, the colors might blend.cant be sure.

their first attempt usually fails,it happens with alot of cichlids.they will get the hang of it though

Oscars are by far one of my favorate cichlids your a lucky fella, because oscars can be quite difficult to sex and pair up, so look after them babys soon as the reach 5mm in size i'd move them to another tank the fry that is.
