Thats right.. all of you guys that feed pellets to your fish... what is your favorite brand and why?

I like Hikari Cichlid Gold ,Predator Sticks and Kensfish Pellets.. why? They are just better than the other brands. My fish look better and grow fast. Not as fast as feeding shrimp but thats another story. .

MY favorite is Silver Cup's 9.5mm Floating Trout Pellets.

Why I like it:
It's big! It's fills up my Monster fish and best of all......

It's CHEAP!!!!! 50lb Bag for like $35!

cause we all know feeding Monsters gets expensive!!!!

I buy kensfish.com's floating cichlid pellets or HBH pellets from his website.

I bought hikari gold at the LFS before that. But Kensfish/HBH pellets are WAAAY cheaper than hikari gold, and better too; more protein.

I also use his sinking shrimp pellets periodically, for bottom feeders.

Hikari seems to be popular. And it has every right to be... they are good quality pellets.

they're 1/4 the cost of hikari and have more crude protein, other than that they're effectively identical, except your money is going to support a small-time guy in america instead of feeding some huge asian corporation

My fish only eat Bio-Blend and Omega One.

Picky little fawkers.

they only eat that cuz thats what theyre acquainted to. my fish have been addicted to 3 pellet brands over the years (wardleys, then hikari gold, then kensfish). You can break the little buggers down to eat whatever you damn well feel like feeding them though, with a week or two of forced starvation. I had a female JD and senegal bichir that took 1 and a half months to switch from Hikari to Kensfish. It pretty much looked like they were going to be stubborn pricks to their very deaths (which would have been fine by me; I dont entertain spoiled fish :P ), but nay, they cracked :)

I realize that I COULD.
I just can't risk it.
I'd cry if I lost any of my fish.
