Can anyone tell me what would cause my Jewels lips to become very white?

look real close, then check out your other fish in the tank, mine do this when the lock up with each other, they tear of skin on the lips, it will come back if you isolated them, or one proves dominance, and they stop fighting, this would be my best guess is what is going on
