Hey everyone.

My LFS had these for sale but not sure what kind they are. Stingrays are more my thing so I was hoping someone here would know what kind they are.

Too small to really know for sure, post some pics when he's about 6+ inches bro. However, most LFS sell Ocell or Ocell / Mono hybrids a lot for cheap. If you paid $15 - $20 you can bet it's a farmie (Ocell / Mono mix or Ocell). Keep us posted bro, nice looking PB!!

It was cheap but I figured it was worth buying these little buggers and growing them out. A lot easier than having to import some from another place at a huge cost. We dont see peacocks up here in canada a lot.

did the seller has been id this cichla before? how many member always asking for ID, besides hoping they will get lucky cichla better than mono ....:irked:

Im more than Happy with mono. Mono or ocell was what I was hoping for. Sucks when a LFS only has the tank marked peacock bass not the type. Thanks everyone for your help. I hope they grow to be giant colorful guys
