Hey guys...Ive been using glass aquariums my whole life...Ive found a steal on a 250 gallon acrylic and I was curious as to what the correct thickness of acrylic should be for a tank this size...I was told it is 1/2" thick and its euro braced on each side with 3 or 4 in between. I did a thickness calculator and they all keep saying at least 1" thick acrylic...anyone have opinions on this, they would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
