okay got a new motoro today.
it had a heater burn be4.
now a big piece of the disc is gone but the wound is healed up alreadi.
and the spots that grew back is pretty smeared up.
but just wondering how long it would take for the disc to fully grow back?
any clue?
 
A few weeks if you feed it well and keep the water optimum.
Had the same but now he's perfect with all the spots showing aswell.

My peruvian motoro, I have no idea how, got the guard off my heater and burned his disc pretty bad.

Some conditioning salt will help to hurry the healing process.
 
is conditioning salt the same as aquarium salt? if so i thought that was bad for rays.
 
hrmm well my rays heater burn is alreadi healed up. it actually looks more like it got bittin a big piece off more then a heater burn. but forsure i know its a heater burn just from the history of the ray. will that grow back?
 
the disc can grow back, but depending on if you use treatment or just let it heal naturally and i guess how much you feed and how big a piece is missing depends on how long it will take
