Use Hypno from Jungle. Its not easy to find as its got Phenylbarbitol in it (date rape drug). I ordered mine from Wetthumbaquatics.com. Without running downstairs-I believe its 1 drop per gallon. Youll need to premix the water in a bucket as if you OD the fish....they dont wake up. Most Fl farmers use this. Good luck.

I believe Hypno is now discontinued. So if you see some out there, snag them up.

Unless you actually date fish. Can't you just dose with CO2 for short trips?

I use MS-222 or Finquel. You can order from www.argent-labs.com.

I've used 1/2 teaspoon to 1 gallon of water premixed in a separate container (do not put directly in tank, rather, remove the fish and put it in the premixed container). Dosage also depends on type of fish as well as size. Larger fish need larger amounts.

If you feel anyway uncomfortable about using the product (ie. harming or killing your fish), do not do it.

I have done this lots of times and have never had a problem, although I don't encourage it without the guidance of an experienced person.
