Is there a commonly avalible fish that is unusual looking, Preferable a surface dweller, EXTREMELY greedy and gets about a foot long?
Tankmates would be
6'' L001 (Can be moved to a diff. Tank if nessecery)
Footer Common plec (Untill I get my pond heated)
Foot long Ompok cat
10'' JD. (Who isn't particularily agressive)
Any ideas?
 
African butterfly fish? They dont get big but they're awesome
 
ya , a african B-fly would be good, or u could go with a marbled gar, not really a gar its a charcin, i just dont know the latin name............

I thought about those. Problem Is the Ompok would probibly eat it. i love butterfly fish though... If only they got bigger...=(

How big around do they get? Ompok would probibly eat if if it's skinny. That things like a mini rtc.:headbang2
Are they agressive? Was looking for something with a good feeding responce. =) Kinda like if you dangled food over an oscar or p-bass tank.

250. With religious water changes. No cichlids though. or bottom dwellers...Ompok bites those. He has good teeth. =P

i know there illegal here in socal, but i would get a gar............. but what ever u do dont break the law ;)
