Parents and fry in the same tank ?

I have a 55 gallon with a pair of wolf Cichlids ( blue dovii ). They spawn already and the fry are about one month old. How long can they stay in the tank together as one big happy family. And there are no other fish in the tank with them. Please advise me thanks.

Did you leave a "0" out on the end of your tank size? There is no way anyone would keep a breeding pair of dovii in a 55.....

depends on the size of the pair.... they will deff. need a bigger tank in the near future. Fry can stay with the parents up until the next spawn or even in some cases a little after but not recommended. Also another thing to watch for is if the fry start picking @ the parents then that is another sign that they need to be moved.
