If you must, go with the stainless. Galvanized steel (especially new) will harm aquatic organisms as it leaches zinc. If using a galvanized tank, it must be sealed against any contact with water.

Well thanks flipper ..but they didnt really mention anything about which would be better/safer for my fish ...guessing the stainless because of the zinc issue with the galvanized

Galvanized will not work in contact with water. It will leech zinc and eventually rust.
