I take it your talking about an anemone? Well it would depend on the space you have for the anemone if it were to travel. The carpet anemones are the worst for fish killing and coral stinging.

if that carpet is not happy where he is put he will do a death walk acros your reef...
Yes, it will oh and they love to eat fish to. Apparently the more expensive the fish the tastier.

u no its odd every one says they destroy every thing and stuff yet i have had three carpets in my tanks and they havnt caused any havoc only wen a fish is about to do does it finish it off aalso they are in a 230 system and they all have clowns hosting in them
also to my previous post this is the tank that had a copper treatment for ick and the carpets are thriving even tho people say they would die
I honestly say that you either got luck with the copper or you did a far better than average. Usually, people will leave too much of it in their substrate or seems to even keep most hardy inverts. So, good job on the clean up man! What sort of clowns do you have did you get most of them at the same time?

Yeah i have a green carpet and it hasnt hurt any other corals yet but it did eat a foxface. It does wander abit though so its basically just a gamble.
