Since joing is this board and becoming staff i've noticed that people all over the world have mixed feelings when it comes to Carp Fishing i wanna know what you think the individual so vote hate it or love it and in a post explain your reasons why !

I personally love it, love the sheer size of a carp and how hard they fight, i even love how they look especially the Mirror Carp.

dont hate it but i tend to ingnore them, there is to much carp here!they destroy a lot of spawn area for native game fish.a lot of fisherman here hate them so hard, when they catched them they simply put them out of water and they slowly die.

They fight hard and get big, so I love to catch them. Since that are not native where I fish I do not release them in public waterways. Anyone eat them?

I'm sure fishing for carp is fun, Their a solid fish and once they get that tail pumping i bet their a blast to fight.... but these things have wiped out a lot of our native fish in places, i mean..... they even look like a pest if you know what i mean.... they look discusting

So, yeh.... i hate carp. but don't hate fishing...

P.S if you didn't know, it's ILLEGAL to return a carp to the water here in aus, your supposed to kill it and bury the body away from the water.

love it! sitting in nature, preparing our gear and waiting for that big fish to take the bait and make the optonic go wild... best moments! especially when you do it with a good friend.

If you are lookin for a good fight than pick one with a carp it won't let you down i pick a fight this summer with 25 lber on some 8 lb testline it was pretty exciting until my line snapped but the fight is great but mostly all fishermen around here don't likr them they throw them on the bank for the gulls.

Carp are fun to reel in, especially when you get one that is 10 lbs or more on your line. Carp fished with my kids all summer. It is fun to watch a 7 year old reel in a fish that is almost as long as they are tall.
