I was wondering can snails be kept with my snowflake eel? any ideas? :screwy:

Over time no. for a little bit maybe six weeks yes.

i have kept snails with a snow flake for quite a long time
i guess it just depends on the eel

depends on the snail's luck then..

even if other tanks and people i know their eel's never mess
with snails

sweet guys thanx gonna give mine a try with a cheap snail to start, hope he's not viewed as escargot.

I've had two large 4" snails in my tank for over six months with a 2.5 foot Snowflake, now problems. He doesn't even care about the snails.

I don't think a snowflake would mess with a snail. THey really are not equiped to suck a snail out of it's shell.
