Recently shut down my Aquarium as had to move it out of my Garage to make room for other changes.
So thought would post some video I came across while cleaning things up.
Changed some things as time went on, such as from internal pump to external which worked much better and easier to manage.
As well disposed of my big internal pond filters on intake to ( 3 ) screened intakes under water,
the internals just held to much crud and that was still in tank, thought better to get crud out of tank not keep it there. Ran for almost 8 years with no troubles, nothing bent out of shape, no leaks, liquid rubber worked very well (when tank drained looked same as when painted on), Ultima Filter worked well, plumbing system allowed fast water changes (too fast), always had good water.Only thing wanted was way to have water go into tank faster which would need a 1-1/2 water line from my well direct to tank to be able to add as fast as could remove water. (Had to, fill tank to brim, do Ultima Backwash/Rinse in a 2-3 minute stages to allow water refill to keep up. Not a perfect solution but worked for me)
Only thing would have change on build is to not run window sealer(Eternabond) right to edge of window edge on exterior as is squished out a bit over time and is hard to clean off as so sticky.
Now on to new projects.
