elk river mn
so after 2 years of looking at the glass sitting on the stand i finally put it together4' wide x 7' long and 2' deep on 8' stand
built the canopy out of all cedar and backed the opening with counter top laminate to keep it really light .
the whole face frames are all completely removable for access to the whole tank.
my original plan was to put the filter bungs up through the bottom in the center but being a little afraid that they could possibly leak i decided on the side
i have 10 watt led flood lights coming for in the canopy and it will be a fully planted tank.

i am looking for a pair of jaguar catfish for this tank if anyone has any leads it would be greatly appreciated my email is thredbs@msn.com tim

Looks good. How many 10w LED flood lights did you order. I'm currently using 2 for each of my 55 gallon tanks and I'm thinking I need at least 4 or more to grow plants. For my 450 gallon tank I use 1 50w and 2 20w. They do ok for growing plants like coons tail and maybe some low light plants. I'm not sure about other more demanding plants, as I've never tried them with these LEDs. I do know they grow fake plants great, mine are huge. lol You can take a look at my light setup by following the link in my sig if your interested in getting an idea of how it would look. The Light pictures are on page 1.
