Can anybody name this fish??

My LFS asked me to take him home because somebody just dropped it off and it is too aggressive to be kept in his show tanks...but he didn't know what it was, and frankly niether do I.

Looks like an African Cichlid, Lake Malawi. Dont know the exact name.

naw lake victoria i think. Pseudocrenilabrus species if they are still refered to under that name. look in an atlas it should be easy to find.

Thanks for your effort, but I have found out what it is, Haplochromis sp. Red Tail Sheller.
