I went to my LFS today and they had about 6 2" archers for 7 bucks each. I was wondering how do they do in a full fresh enviorment and is that a good deal:confused:

I have heard of people keeping archers in full fresh water. However, archers are brackish to saltwater fish. I would say that they would suffer some in the long run in full fresh water, and I wouldn't do it.

depends on the species some will do fine in fresh. archers live in freshwater to saltwater. do a search of archerfish theres a lot of info already covering this topic regarding salinities

I think most archers do better in a high range BW to full marine environment. depends on what kind you've got there.
