Coppersafe

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Maybe for the aro but I would say no for the rest, not sure of that.... what are you trying to treat? I'm sure there's an alternative you can use....

one of my datnoid and arowana are flicking and rubbing against objects.. very badly and the arowana is having scale blister/ bubble looking stuff on the rubbing area.

I cannot see any parasites on the body.

I heard a product called Aquari-sol.. is this ok to use?

I checked water, every thing is in good order.

I've never had any problems with coppersafe and the lfs I used to work at treated all its tanks with copper for various things, 1 it keeps inverts away, permanently, its fine for bichirs, arowanas, and loaches I know for sure, dats should be just fine also but I can't personally vouch for that. Coppersafe if its mardel or some high end brand is one of the best treatments IMO ~Trent

The flicking and rubbing you're referring to is called "flashing" by most.

Despite what amazonfishman said, indiscriminate use of copper can hurt most fish. If you've decided to use it, despite the cautions against it, use it at half dose.

An alternative, any of the ich treatments for scaleless fish.
