Channa Gachua doubled in size

My Gachua officially doubled the size from when I got him. He was 4 inches, 7 months ago when I got him. Since he has eaten like an absolute pig, last night I measured him at just 8 inches.
I am quite interested to see when the growth ends, as max size is usually referenced at 8 to 10 inches.
Out of curiousity, what is the largest gachua anyone out there has?

Looks like a fat female. I grew one out to 11 1/2" and the male was around 11".

They stop growing after a year..

Thanks, this gives me great optimism, I was hoping she would grow past 10"

No problemo B, If you want to power grow/power feed.

raise the temp up to 84

feed lots of night crawler

and double up on the 50% water changes.

I fed them 3 to 4 times a day.

i have a channa marulides ( marulius) he was 3-4 inch wheni got him, and he is now around 13-14 ich:) love snakeheads :) realy good looking snakeheads you have :)
