any of you beantown boys go for stripers and blues at all? im a surf fisherman and typically hit wolly beach. season's out and i think im going to switch over to the freshwater to mess around. just seeing who's out there.

sorry downset21 , I just saw this today. I fish for stipers and blues from Boston to the C.C.CANNAL.We should hook up next spring when they run again. Forget about icefishing this winter, my damm appletree is budding. warmest winter I can remember.

just picked up on this on today too. i go down here in little rhody, not too far from you and hit up some of the charter boats for some strppier and blue fishing. let me know if you ever wanna come down

im even farther south and fish the raritain bay. what great year we had down here! cant wait till the spring run is on again

if you are really close to boston, you can get some freshwater WHITE Bass (white striper) in the charles river. You can sometimes catch some REAL stripers 10 pounds or less going out to the ocean.
