who is your LEAST favorite tv fishing host?

god i HATE Mark Sosin!!!!!! he is sooooooooooooo boring and dryer than a freaking saltine cracker. hes hooked up to like a 40in snook, holdind the rod between his legs, and talking with his hands about how pretty this here shoreline is and how much you need to buy his freaking knots DVD. now George Polveromo, thats my kind of fisherman. i like the addictive fishing guy too, forget his name, Blair somthin. how about you guys?who do you like/dislike?

I really don't dislike any off them . but how ever I do watch BILL DANCE and the ADDICTIVE FISHING GUY . maybe that guy who looked like jeff foxworthy ,don't remember his name . he was so freakin claim it made me fall asleep watching his show.

paul young is a newb indeed. But, i hate Rex Hunt even more cuz he is a dick and he should give a good example to the millions who watch his show. This guy holds the fish up for minutes and minutes and start talking about something dumb while the fish almost shokes. Furthermore he drops the fish in the boat or on the rocks half of the time. And then he says: be careful with nature... damn, give a good example!

Blair Wiggins is the man, not too many I don't like. I saw Roland Martin reel in a tuna with half its back missing. As he was bringing it, a shark took off his backside.

I totally agree Mick plays second fiddle to mat a lot of the time but he is a real caricature. Give him his own show.;)

I have to agree with you. The way he holds fish out of the water for ages while going on about how you must treat the fish with care so that it can survive after release annoys the **** out of me.

And a few of his frequent phrases, such as "this fish was born to exist", WTF?:screwy:

And what's with the constant kissing of the fish?

Credit where its due, he has raised the profile of recreational anglers in Australia, and done his bit for conservation of fish stocks here.

I can't stand Al Lindner. He's always out in a boat on a lake with 2 foot whitecaps with his slicker on hauling in walleyes while the lightning strikes behind him. He says "The best time to go fishing is during a storm." Well, I say that fishing is neither endurance test or survivor episode. That guy pisses me off.

I worked with a guy that was an assistant on a fishing show. His job was to hook up to fish and give his rod to the host to reel in. :screwy::screwy:

My least favorite show is the Bite. Everything is a secret and they never tell you any 'how to'. Their 'special chum' is a secret, their bait is always a secret, and their locations and habitat are always a secret. I'm not interested in how expensive their boat and equipment is, and I don't want to just watch them catch fish. I want to know methods and techniques and then see how effective they are.
