The fish are NOT a breeding pair if thats what your asking! it is 2 fish .

And they are about 4 . 5 " .

I have a breading pair of gold and green...and a tank with at least 100 babies.

I really like the golds, have you seen the reds?

AHHH so thats what a red looks like ! i have never seen a red before they look great love the pic's .

I have only had the new fish in for an hour or so and there behaviour is outstanding they are eating straight away they seem to be settling in fine with my arrowana and my fire eel and pleco but the marble gobie seems to be trying to get them every chance it gets i'm gonna see how he goes over night and if nothing has changed i'll take him out and swap him at my LFS. :duh:

I noticed the same thing with mine, they eat great and are always willing to eat from hand. And funny thing is from all the small fish (mine is still small) it will swim up and nip on my hand.

To be Honest with you this is the third type of cichlid i ve kept i have kept Oscars for years and have had 2 sets of them i have also kept Kribs when i first got in to the fish keeping game.

So these golden severums i'm still learning about them but one thing i will agree with is they are very friendly and a real pleasure to look at.

I love Gold Sevs myself. They can hold their own in any tank if theyre large enough.
