Ok this was a Question from HoangLan in another thread so lets have some answers.
Don't mean to get off topic but some of you guys seem to have homemade/custom rods:headbang2 ?
I my self have a set of custom made Carp rod (that’s my thing) they were hand built and have a 3 lb test curve, they are rod Hutchinson striker blanks full cork handled and have Fuji eyes and real seat.
I also have a set 2 x Century armalite mk1 they are now consider collectable in the carp world.
Those look really nice stotty. I dont have any customs but maybe in ill have some some day

nice stotty!
i have one custome and one on the way...it'l be done in about 2 weeks. 11'6", 20-30lb test, 2-5 oz lure......rainshadow su1386 blank
I love berkley's lightning rod's :headbang2 the pistol grip model is awsome very comfortable to cast with.. and there really strong rod's too.. Not a big fan of the uglystick.. the tip's are too sensitive and casting is sloppy.. I'd spend money on higher quality rod's but the risk of breakage is to high ..

ive had an ugly stik for well over 12yrs now, i love 'em!
but my 100% graphite rods are much lighter, stiffer and more sensitive.

Most of the rods I have I built them myself, they are not that pretty but it's just feel awsome when I can catch a fish with a rod I built.

Somebodys got nice taste. Van Staal. Avet. Mmmm You think like me. We build custom rods for people that come in the tackle shop. I've got a whole setup in my basement. I'll take some pics of that and my reel repair room.
