I agree with Sandtiger. If Northern Pike weren't common and instead came from Brazil, we would have members snatching them up. I suppose then they would be Southern Pike. LOL

This is a great thread. Just thought I would throw in my two cents lol. Those catfish and others are amazing. I already know how big my kitties get, but it's nice to see adults that are wild caught, and left there. Makes me all fuzzy inside. Hope my jau, rtc, tsn, and various hybrids all get that big!

its mostly they have natural foods currents LOTS more room and they go through seasons thats the biggest reason.

Those basses have great colors on them.
lol I was getting tired of catching PB but I havent caught PB I have caught sardines compared to some of those monsters those are fantastic and the colors are superb.
The amazon is amazing what pictures what huge fish
i'm talking bout the species of fish....i'd much rather be catchign p.bass and pacu's etc etc ythan friggin trout and red fin lol
Its funny how people are funny that way. I moved here (South Florida) bit over a yr ago . I couldnt catch PB to save my life in last few months even while fishing little canals trying to catch big cichlids I have caught lots of PB and sick of them.
I wish I could catch trout and redfin instead lol. I heard trout are great eating . However the PB he has caught are HUGE not 16 to 18 inch Miami PB .
