Can any one tell me what mine is? From what Ive read in the other thread Im leaning towards female, but if any one can tell me for sure Id be quite happy. He/She/It has been the same size (about 6-7") for the past year so I think its at its max size, how ever Ive started to feed it Beef Heart hoping to help it grow larger.

Can you give a full body shot as well... No reason for stunting in growth right?? How old is your fish? as well:)

Oh and beefheart isn't going to change the size... I have great success in color with Brine shrimp and HBH supersoft Spirulina though :D OhH!! And Nightcralwers :)
 
Heres a full body. And with your images in the last post I kind of thought He was actually a She. Which really has me thinking now. Once I procure a larger tank for my JD/Ahili I may just get a male and see what happens. Oh and now that Im kinda sure shes a female REALLY explains alot with the behavior of my Ahili. But more on that later after shes confirmed a she =P

Question Is your fish from a local lfs?
 
Thanks for the information all. I never really thought about breeding, but now Im kind of interested. Ill have to wait a while till I get a larger tank for another large cichlid though.
