Hello, I went to this place, Outdoor World, at the biggest mall in Ontario. This store was ENORMOUS, it had EVERYTHING, for hunting and fishing, even arcade games, etc.
I was impressed, but I saw this fishtank and :WHOA: :woot: :naughty:    :grinyes: :headbang2 :grinno: :clap :swear:  :) :D   :screwy: were about how I felt.
I spent about 2 hours with it while my family looked at the rest of the store...
I took as many pictures and video as I could, only a 32 mb card and it still had previous pictures on it.
Pictures werent the best so I edited them the best i could via brightness contrast and sharpness.
Keep in mind these are all of ONE tank, and it had every fish species in southern ontario:
a pair of Giant beautiful muskies, Salmon, Giant Bullhead catfish, Enormous and Beautiful Longnose Gars, Carp, Bass LrgeMouth SmlMouth, Pumpkin Seeds, and much more and just WOW.
Oh and not related to this, I went to the exhibition place in toronto, and there was a pretty massive portable trailer tank there, and a guy was up on it and doing fishing demonstrations IN the tank, i thought this was funny/cool, he was a pro bass angler. the tank was filled mostly with rainbow trout and bass.
I'll leave you in no more delay, here are the vid's and pics I took.

Yes Bass Pro in Great Lakes Crossing has a massive tank, as soon as you walk in the door it is straight ahead by the lures. Not the mall entrance where the pond is with trout and catfish in it .
wow that's awsome. such a huge tank. did you guys see the size of those gars?

:screwy: Sweet tank.
I heard you can catch muskies by floating a mouse tied to a fishhood on a piece of asphalt shingle, and when you get it over their cover, pull the little rascal off and let him struggle a bit. Cruel, no doubt, but would it work?

I dont understand, I mean, you can't see the muskie under the water, so how would you know when to pull it off?
if it works, I'll trade a mouse for a muskie any day ;)

Using mice is illegal in most states but the biggest bass I have ever caught, 8 1/2 lb, was on a white mouse. As for not seeing the fish, you just learn to read the water and make a guess as to where the fish might be. I use two loops of line to tie a treble hook to the back of the mouse and juct cast it out to your target area and let it swim, no weight at all. Take up the slack as it gets closer to you. I have never had a mouse make it to shore though once I had one stolen by a hawk. I have caught LM bass, N.pike, muskie, flat head cats, and lake trout this way. Don't get caught.
