Is a 2 inch jardini worth 60 dollars?

A pet shop nearby in Pensacola, Florida can get me one of these for this price. I told them to go ahead and order it. I saw a larger one for $99 at my LFS when I bought my silver . It was sold when I went back to look at it. What is the size of a jardini with a yolk sac? I want a nice dark jardini that I can raise up. Are they really hard to raise at this size? Thanks

smaller ones are more expensive in my area. as thy get bigger, they become less wanted. a 1" jardini was 99.00 at my lfs.

worth it, more of an opinion of how much u want to own it. if you really want it, then it will be worth it. if jardinis are in season, they become much cheaper. last year when jardinis were everywhere, price dropped to about 45 bux.

Just take extra care if the jar has the sac. They're more fragile at that stage, also you don't want to break that sac.

Still water, with a small airstone should be good until his sac is dissolved on its own.

Are you going to put it in a separate tank or in a bigger tank with a divider?

If you can, put the lil bugger in a small tank..10g..until his sac is gone and he's taking regular food..brine, blood worms or plankton are good. Just make sure its small enough for him to eat and grows to about 3-4".

In my area theres a little cramped fish store that sells 2-3 inch jardini's for 20-25 bucks. I know because my older bro bought one a week ago. So far its eating healthy.

Sometime it's not the amount that bother me but the size of these babies. If you pay high for it and it's survival rate is high then the risk is much reduced. But if you spend much but the risk is too much to undertake, I will advise getting a bigger piece.

No deal here; they could only get me a yolk sac baby. I will wait for some larger fish. Why do the wholesalers try to sell the pet shops these tiny frail fish?.
