That is Cichla Monoculus.
Expect a 20-24 inch CIchla when full grown.

he was about 4inch and he is now 6 1/2 inch i have had him for about 2 months now

Cichla Ocellaris get 24-28 inches I think the record in Florida is like 12lbs

Nice....beauty. Should really start to color up soon..around 8" or so. Love the color change of pbass as well! Just like Crenicichla...Lugubris pikes!! I'm gettin 6 Cichla orinocensis babies from Rapps! yay! Can't wait! Very excited about it!!

I also love the color change of cichla! Suddenly its like BOOM outburst of color.
