I have a Cleaner Shrimp and a bunch of hermit crabs, they love algae wafers. Should I feed them, or make them find their own food?

If you have loads of live rock and your feeding other things like corals and fish, there should be enough left over...

u really should not need to feed them

That is what I was thinking, I am trying to keep nitrates to a minimum.

Your tank should be able to sustain them fine to be honest mate.

I would feed the hermits occassionally with the algae wafers, maybe once a week at night. Feed the cleaner shrimp more often with frozen fish food.

all the inverts in my tank scavenge what they can after my fish are done eating.

Yea I agree, I have a butt load of inverts, some naturally I target feed, but for my snails, crabs, shrimp, etc... Let 'em scavenge, they are great at clearing out the stagnant areas of the tank where detritus can build up. If you have a well established tank with lots of live rock and animals being fed on a regualr basis, they should be fine.
