So I'm looking around my 120 to see what's all the spazzing for, and all my fish are on one side of that tank except my male and female Dovii.
I look, I see tons of gravel moved, to where I can see the bottom of the tank, but that's normal
I walk out to my car, and I think...Hmm...Well...I need look around more even though I'm blind..I just gotta!!
I walk inside, look at the tank...feed my fish again, and then I saw them...
Eggs and wigglies ALL OVER THE DECORATION, and they blended right in!
How long does it take for eggs to hatch and if I want these guys to grow out, how long do I have to leave them in there?
I'm a mama!!!:hearts:

useualy takes three days maybe a day or two more. for them to start wiggling from being layed . Ide give them them about a week of protecting them then remove half of the fry befor they start free swiming into a seperet small tank. That way if they decide to eat the fry or the fry in the main tank get sucked into a filter you still got some. useualy takes about two weeks for them to become free swiming . Feed liquid fry number 1 once they start swiming . then after a couple weeks switched to like a crushed flake i used omega for my midas frys and my jags

A couple of suggetions, if possible devote a 20-30 gal. tank for grow out. Use a sponge filter, or cut up a brine shrimp net so that you can cover the intake on a power filter by attaching it with a rubber band, also use water from the parent tank and maintain the same temp. I've raised out jacks and devils this way. Also for food you can use fresh hatched brine shrimp or the yolk from hard-boiled eggs mashed into the tiniest pieces you can manage.

I rarely do water changes in the 120.... :grinno:
I did like a 80% one a couples days to a week before she laid them last time.
If I have time Saturday I'll do another large partial water change, and see if it happens again. :D
