Someone is giving away an Arrowhead Puffer that is about 4” right now.. and I always wanted a puffer and said Ill take it. The thing is.. I don’t know much about them. :uhoh:

All I know is that it’s a freshwater puffer and whatever is provided on this page

they are mean suckers, most people say they are best kept in their own solitary tank. They are also extremely inactive, moving only during, and remain almost completely dormant the rest of the time.

Yeah I heard that they are very inactive and love to have few inches of sand to burry themselves in. The puffer will be in a solitary tank by himself… I just got a thing for puffers!

They can live in a 29 gallon tank their entire life.
They eat live/frozen food.
I wanted one for the longest time.
They will burry themselves in sand with just their eyes sticking out.
How cute!

Ya they love sand and can be kept with congo puffers and palembang puffers. they eat live fish and can eat frozen. they love frozen krill.
