Aureus "blue form" (Thorichthys aureus). Average size 5~5.5". Mine is about 6"+ when I trade him.

Please post fish's scientific name, average size, and size of your fish. So, someone can actually learn something from this thread.

Del, does your aro ever lose any of her scales for whatever reason? if so how long do they take to grow back???

HELL YEAH!!! dam things are bigger than a quarter!!!!!, The scale itself grow back quickly, but it takes afew months for them to regain their full color back.

Cobalt Zebra (M. Callainos), averages about 5-6", Big Blue is easily 7.5-8":

i tryed to messured them yesterday and came to be 9 in for the tiger and 8 in for the albino oscar but I m not so sure since i didnt messured the tale and they moved so much

my bad they are not fully grown yet so sorry about that. i think oscars get about 60 cm dont they ?

Before I GAVE away my Oscar pair and my male Jag......they needed to go and no one would take them....*sigh*....the larger male Oscar was 14.5" (measured him) and the female was 12 1/4"...not to shabby i should say. The male Jag was ALMOST 15"....HUGE mo fo...lol...drew blood on me sooo many times...lol.

Thank you, he's my favorite :D

I'm not sure how old he is, actually. When I bought him from the LFS a few months back now, he was already full grown. He's probably a few years old at least I would think, since he's so damn big.
