thanxs...i had a hard time trying to introduce my previous cuban into my main tank...i tried 3 times and all the attempts failed. ended up with my ex cuban badly injured by my aro. so in the end, i sold her away....

thats an endlicheri endlicheri. currently abt 18". she is on MP, Bull frog and feeder fishes. as for pellets, i never try on her.. ;)

cuban gars are banned from exporting out from cuba only. but it is not illegal if it is being bred in captivity. so far, several countries are breeding them. indonesia, japan and thailand if i am not wrong. this cuban i got from is being bred in captivity and its from japan. :)

nah......most of the asian aros cost much more that this. this cuban recommended retail price is from $700 TO $800 SGD. Which is abt $411 to $470USD. ;)

so far so good...the only aggressor in my tank is the aro only...now she couldn't see eyes to eyes with my peacock bass..... :)

From my experience...I would worry more if the aro would attack the gar...gars in my books....do not really have bad aggression mode..unless it thinks the tankmate is food...

i tried last june when i was in HK...tried to bring in a 9+" American tiger. was stop by cathay pacific air crew at the check point. they dun allow me to bring it onboard. said that it was against their policy and all the craps...was damn pissed to the max.....in the end, i left without the fish... :swear: :swear: :swear:

another alternative is to keep in tank first and then eventually rent a pond 6ft by 7ft by 2ft at pasir ris farm for just merely $30 per mth which include electric bill and air supply. filteration system have to be self-cater. feeding can be entrust to them at our cost. :D
