HI I,AM VIPER AND I BEEN RAISING FISH FOR THIRTY YEARS AND STRICKLY PREADATOR FISH NOT THOSE LITTLE FLAKE EATING GIRLY GIRLY FISH.I CURRENTLY HAVE A 12 INCH AFRICAN TIGER FISH 24 INCH DRAGON FISH ALLIGATOR GAR LARGE TRI COLOR SHARK,9 INCH BUMBLE BEE CAT,10 INCH NAME UNKOWN AFRICAN CHICLID.I WAS RAISING A LARGE MOUTH BASS BUT HE WAS GETTING TO BIG FOR THE TANK SO I PUT HIM BACK IN THE POND WHICH IS RIGHT IN BACK OF MY HOUSE WERE THE POND IS FULL OF THEM.WHEN I LIVED IN NYC I WAS ABLE TO GET ANY PARTICULAR FISH I WANTED NOW THAT I LIVE IN DELAWARE PET SHOPS ARE VERY SCARCE AROUND HERE I HAVE TO DRIVE AT LEAST 40 MILES JUST TO FIND A GOOD PETSHOP,AND MOST OF THE PLACES DO NOT HAVE A GRAET SELECTION.SOMETIMES THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE LIKE NAMING TIGER FISH AS BARRACUDAS AND SELLING THEM FOR 30 DOLLARS WHEN THEY CAN EASILY GET 100 DOLLARS FOR THEM.WELL I JUST WANTED TO SAY A FEW WORDS AND INTRODUCE MYSELF. :hearts: :hearts:

that's awesome that you have a pond right in the back of your house... You can catch all the sunfish/minnow feeders you want I bet. What tank(s) you got?

I CURRENTKY HAVE A 90 GALLON AND A 20 GALLON . WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE TO A 150G BUT I CHOOSE TO UPGRADE THE LOOKS OF MY CAR.

THE LARGE MOUTH WAS 12 INCHES CAUGHT ON EARTH WORMS.I ALSO LEARN YOU CANNOT KEEP TO LARGE ONES TOGETHER THEY ARE VERY AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS EACH OTHER CAUGHT MANY ON EARTH WORMS UP TO 24 INCHES AND 8 POUNDS.

those are some massive bass... heh the 24"ers would make a meal out of anything you got... you made a meal out of them though, right?

I WOULD SAY ITS ABOUT THE LENTH OF 3 FOOTBALL FIELDS AND ONE FOOTBALL FIELD WIDE ITS PRETTY BIG DID I ALSO MENTION IT HAS SOME A THE LARGEST CARP I EVER SEEN AT LEAST 3 TO FOUR FEET WHEN EVER THEY GET ON MY LINE I JUST CUT IT I LET THEMM GO ON THEIR MERRY WAY ALSO HAVE VERY LARGE SNAPPING TURTLES RAISED A FEW OF THOSE THEN RELEASE THEM THEY GROW FAST.

ahahaha, well i hear their flesh doesnt taste that good anyway, but i dont speak from experience, and its always nice to try something new.

the other dayi as driving down the road at like 1 and i live in a subdivision wiht a pond and 2 big creeks, and theres a lot of development thats messing the forest up so i see alot of dead animals, like foxes, ect. i hit a rabit once... not my fault.. i cryed. but it hoped away.. anyways. it really really pisses me off when i see dead turtles. i mean come on! the rabbits, foxes they dart out. turtles. drive around!.. if there is a car comming hte other way slow down and wait till there isnt its only a 30 m/h road! but ive seen liek 5 turtles plasted al over hte road. its sad... so hte other day i saw a liek 20# snapping turtle in the raod liek right lined up wiht my tire, so i pulle dover and threw my jacket over him and hauled him ove rot my trunk..... i only realized he was alive when he starte to try to wriggle out.. good god thugh when my adrenilin calmed down i was liek hold cow he could haev definatly bit my fingers off. ne waysi dropped him off and the pond away from the road. adn i can oly hope he stayed there. but he took a huge lunge at me wheni took the coat off him.l how nice of him eh? :swear:

I always stop and move 'em to a safe place, even though they'll probably wander back onto the road.
I give it my best shot though.:)

rabbits are fair game for tires. I like turtles so I dunno about them, it would dependon my mood. I'd swerve for a fox though.

I HAVE SEEN MANY PEOPLE PICK UP THE LARGE SNAPPERS AND PUT THEM IN THE BACK OF THEIR TRUNK AND BELIEVE ME THEY WERE NOT HELPING IT TO THE POND. SINCE IT WAS A FEW FEET AWAY HINT NINT TURTLE SOUP.

Dude I so want to see some pics of your tiger fish! just curious to what it looks like at 12 inches.. id say mine is about 3-4 inches.. picked him up yesterday. I'll try to get some pics taken and stick them up on here too.
