What size tank would be the minimum for a silver arowana? As i'm getting a new 6x2x2 and wondered would one be ok in it? Thanks.

not for life as silvers can get 4' but more likely wont get over 40" a 30" wide tank could suffice for life but a 4' wide tank and atleast 8' long would be perfect for life so I guess my minimum for a silver t live a full life is 8x4x2.5 I knwo it sucks but its true they get huge
how do you think that the ones we see at public aquaria that are 40" got that big????? they just grew that big in a few years??? it takes them along time to get huge heck they can supposedly live 20 years or more

i think the growth process really slows down once the fish matures, but im pretty sure that i've read that silver aros really dont stop growing till they die, given the right atmosphere and care
