More Fish Pixs!! Delicious!!!

Heres a couple pictures of my female festae finally guys! LOL! Shes seriously not colorin up yet, although today she finally showed her bars for about three hours straight. Feeding her NLS and shrimp, try to spice up her reds more. Also, current picture of one of my Crenicichla marmorata/stirgata...lol.

at first when i saw the title i thought i was gunna see a fish with a severed head, like the fish that our MFE ate :D

HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! you know me. well anyways that festae will color up nicely i guarantee. they are bad ass fish. one of my favorites. get a male fish around her and shell color up quick. nice pics.

LOL!! Yeah, i thought you guys would say think that. CM...I don't wanna breed them really, just really like the females colors. I think it has a lot to do with the supplier that you get them from too. My last festae's I had were colored up AWESOMELY by the time they were this big...and by the time they were this big I only had one left...a female. Lost two to a filter, two to a TSN, and one jumped tank....such bad luck with them...lol. My last one...my baby..was gorgeous...and then she got zapped by my e-cat and broke her spine...really pissed me off. E-cat was GONE after that....lol. Point is that they all colored up with out any other festae in there wit them. They came from a high quality supplier though I think so that may have something to do with it. Hopefully she will color up though. Only place I can really get festae though is through Rapps, but maybe I will do just that.


CJ...lol...yeah....powerfeedin them every night....then every four days I fast them for a day. Helps them digest the food and stuff. I swear though, even when i do fast them they still gotta bit of a belly! That one in the picture was still hungery...lol..you should see them after I feed them cocktail shrimp pieces...they look HUGE!! lol....

Forgot to mention, the first picture you can see my Ultra Red Warrior FH...lol..only about 1.5" or so...got good color for its size I guess. And the last picture with the pike, you can vaguely see my Red Texas in the background...lol...outa focus as well though! Anywho...just random rambles..:P

Not colored up yet though...*sigh*....hope she DOES color up...lol....next time i do an order from Rapps I'll probably get a few more festae and see if that makes her color up. If not...then at least I will know I have some killer festae from Rapps that I am SURE will color up! :D
