Yes, it will grow back by itself...BUT you can help it along by getting some MELAFIX by AQUARIUM PHARMACUTICALS...this is some awsome stuff!!! I had some nipped up fins on my rainbows, and used this stuff for a week...and they have regenerated their nipped fins! Truley amazing product!!!
here is the link for the MELAFIX...

Hope this helps!

dont medicate you fish, its unnessesary, the fin will grow back by itself, just keep keep the good water quality like ur supose too.

it would be more stressful netting it out and putting it in a seperate tank anyways, so just leave it.

Actually this is the perfect use of melafix as a mild anti-bacterial prventitive-Anne

You do not need to quarentine the fish...It is safe for ALL fish...It is an all natural medication...It is made from the MELALUCCA plant...It has a light "clove" scent to it, and it may make the water small like that for a little while...But It it really great stuf! It also has been know to "regenerate" tissue lost in fish battles! GREAT STUFF!

it will more than likely take the med. out of the water
