hey guys going to be purchasing a 125gallon tank in the mere future,,, need some advice on filtration/set-ups,,, can any of you experts pass your knowledge to a young dedicated fishkeeper??? dont know anything about sumps, wet/dry filters, or anything someone has to explain this to me i dont understand how they work.....thx

 Well, I'm far from an expert, but I can tell you how mine is set. Rena XP3, Fluval 404, A/C 110, 2 MaxiJet 1200's. Not top of the line nor bottom of the barrel. Combos are endless depending on budget, personal favorites ect. One rule is fairly constant, 'there's no such thing as overfiltration'!! It's better to have more & not need it than to need more & not have it. Good luck, "T"

on my 200 im going with an xp3 two marine 330s and an ac110. thats 1350gph total, giving you 10.5 turns an hour. depending on what your putting in there you may or may not need that much.

My overstocked tank is filtered by a Rena XP3 w/ 18 watt Turbo-Twist UV, Emperor 400, 75gallon sponge, and Amiracle wet/dry 400gph filter.
