I got a Otorongo ray from Miles on Friday
it about a 22 inch "disk"
words can't describe how freakin cool it is!!!
These guy's at xoticaquatics know what they are doing..
awesome packing, shipping, great communication, and amazing fish!
When the ray came in, i decided to do the dump and squirt method that
miles suggested with amquel plus. that was a whole lot easier than the
drip method.
about an hour after acclimation the ray was already looking for food
i fed it about 12 large nightcrawlers in one sitting.
anyone who is considering purchusing a ray
I highly recomend xoticaquatics. No hassles great product!

Heres a picture of him right before he wen't out.. The meds discolored the tank water, so it does him no justice!
And heres a pic of him when he was half way across the world..
Where else can you get insight like this?? heh..
You notice the sponge on his tail? That is what caused it to fall off! Damn those fish collectors, who needs extra limbs anyways! J/K!

dude how wide is that tank or is it just an optical illusion. the ray llooks as wide as the freakin tank. beautiful fish but it looks a little cramped in there. are you gonna upgrade. how big do those usually get. not that i wouldnt throw that beauty in my 300 right now, but wow that thing makes that tank look small

i do hand feed him
that tank i have him in is a quarintine tank
it is an optical illusion there's actully like 8 inchs of space on each side

the ray is interesting, from what I can see of its tail it is not a Flower and probably is some kind of Castexi, but not an Otorongo ( Jaguar) I think

but Harry, you wan't to buy this other ray I posted in the buy/sell section right? It's a good deal! I can almost guarantee you will love a flowered motoro as much as you love your otorongo ;)
