they get to 2 feet long and need brackish water. i'm not sure how fast they grow, but unless you have a 55G brackish water tank it's not gonna reach adulthood. NEVER EVER impulse buy a living animal!

Yup...they get pretty big and need brackish water for sure! They grow at a decent rate but not really too fast though! I feed mine sinking pellets and frozen bloodworms.

I use to have one, mines didnt grow very fast at all. I fed mines brine shrimp, it didnt eat the sinking or floating pellets. They also like to hide alot, unless when there's food.

Mine has gone from 4inches to almost 9 in about year and half. Eats frozen brine, bloodworms, and finely chopped beefheart, shrimp and fish. Really cool fish, give it a cave to hide in and expect redecorating as they like to dig things up.

Mine was really easy....he eats sinking pellets and bloodworms...actually anything that sinks to the bottom that is really small he will eat. I guess I got lucky.:D
