Aro eaten

I LOST MY ARO TODAY!!! :(

I got home from work and found its head on the floor. My cat had its second expensive aro meal. The only opening was a circle alittle bigger than a quarter. I didnt think the aro could even fit through it, but I was wrong. :( This is the second one ive gone through. Funny thing thou, about two mintues ago my cat just threw it up. :ROFL: At least it went to feed something and didnt just die on the floor. Im gonna tape the $hit outta my tank now and cover everything!!!

My 180g seems so empty now :(

Guess I gotta win that raffle now!!! :D

I was hopeing that the fish bones would get stuck in her throat, but im trying not to be mad at her, cant blame a cat for eating something yummy.

The silver aro was almost 8 inches long which is why im so surprised it fit throu sucha small hole. :(

Now that I think about it, my cat must hate my fishtank! Two weeks ago she bite a hole in the tubing of my canister, luckily I caught it before the entire 180g emptied out and ruined my carpet/flooring!!! Maybe shes jealous???

Or maybe I will get a supha monsta fish one day and feed her to it!!!

The cat was just trying to eat something that tastes good. Cant blame it! My cat has gone though so many chiclids of mine I cant even remember. Sorry for your loss though. Go get a new one =)

Oh I am very sorry for the loss :( . You are right, though it would have pissed me off, can't blame the cat, plus that Arowana did something unpredictable, it should have behaved and stayed in the tank..*smiles*..sad, very sad, I have bought a baby silver Arowana when I was 12 and it died when I was 17 due to my carelessness, I understand.

I watched the Funniest Animal Home Video on Animal Planet channel about a few days ago and it was about this cat putting its forelegs into a small goldfish tank and was trying to catch the fishes :grinno:

It looked funny though, maybe you should get an adult Giant Snakehead and let her play fishing :D which was exactly what I asked my mom after watching the home video. So, who's next?! :grinno:

I realize that the fish would have died anyways, if it did wiggle out, but I think that the cat was drinking from the tank and the aro was attracted to her tongue and then WHAMMM lunch is served. :eek:
