According to Axelrod, Southamericans get to 130 cm., Aussies get 150cm+, and africans get to 60cm+. All are food fish. There was a great Nat.Geo>Exp. show, not about fish, that showed young Af.lungfish Coming out of mud built walls during the first heavy rain.

That pcs is in a public aquarium, and the tank is 8'X6'.

found this one too ..owned by a japanese MFK. He has crazy tank setups..
My LFS has a 20" lungfish. Its living in a 400 gallon display tank with lots of snack sized fishes. Quite surprising..
