Anyone got any albino Dats?? or just pictures???

Im going back and forth thinking if they would look sick or not... I know someone has a pic, like oddball, or ewurm, or neo... PIC ME PLEASE??!? Thanks guys..:drool: :drool:

I've never heard of any, but albinism can occur in any species. Since datnoids aren't commercially bred, the difficulty of survival in the wild without the trademark camouflage striping of a datnoid may be the reason why we don't hear of albino dats. IMO, an albino dat wouldn't have quite the same appeal. We like dats for their stripes.

I think it would kinda look like an albino Tiger barb... the weird pink body but with white stripes...

I like the yello in the Dats, my favorite color. I just want to see some more pics, and i haven't heard of anyone bringing up this topic before. I know atleast one person can come up with a picture.

So far I've seen a dat with the "NY" as in NY Mets emblem in the stripe pattern. Had an email from someone who said he had a dat with horizontal bars for sale. I asked for a pic but, never heard from him again. Probably BS.

I think so too, but only time will tell once someone gets one, if people can find the rare shark with gross gills they should be able to find atleast 1 albino dat... im on a mission! jk im too lazy, i wanna see one though

Are you saying that you found a pic of a datnoid that is closest to being albino? Or do you mean that NGT in the pic is nicer than the ST that I posted?

Not albino but I just found a pic of a Bright white Tiger with solid black stripes in one of my aquarium series books. ill try to scan it and post a pic.
