why does everyone say that stunting a fish's growth is bad? does it shorten thier lives or something of that nature?

Fish are stunted because they are unable to grow, either due to poor water conditions or poor diet. The fish isn't growing because its body isn't working correctly. Obviously, that's going to affect longevity.

Stunting the growth of any fish is sad, bad, and irresponsible. Imagine if your growth was stunted, you probably wouldnt be as healthy right??? Just my 2 cents.

I do not know if it shortens there lives but I bet it makes it alot tougher then it should be. I know I wouldnt like to me a man made midget.
