#12 is a fine picture. One of the best fish pictures I've seen in a while actually. Congratulations to whomever took that.

Lot of awesome entries! Very impressive considering this is a relatively new contest for the site.
May I suggest that the label numbers to be moved closer to the pictures instead of right between them? This will make it a little easier to identify the exact picture number.

I think we should use punch cards and submit them through the state of Florida,,,,okay, nevermind, stop hitting now.
I will not, in good conscience vote for an aro this time, great fish but this time the photo is just a little blurred.
I do however have a serious case of fish envy.

LOL! Then we can have fish pictures named "Gore" and "Bush" with a number right between them..
Aro is such a favorite fish that it's hard to ignore...
BTW, what is number 12, is it some kind of grouper or a freshwater fish?
#12 is a Marbled goby, a fish that will eat anything even the least bit smaller than itself including canned catfood.

Guppy is right. It's a marbled sleeper goby, or Soon Hock, an ambush-type predator that does not have the "elegant" of some other top water predator, but make up with its excellent camouflage ability, quick burst of speed, and...a very large mouth!

Well, I have seen the goby "in action" many times, but to be honest, haven't seen its teeth yet...
May be next time, when I order Soon Hock from the restaurant, I'll pick something on the menu that would include the head, so I can really examine the teeth, LOL!
I will try to take a picture of the marbled goby at my job, it's scary LOL. I keep him with small baby african cichlids so he's nice and fat.

How is it possible that there are over 3000 members and yet there are barely more than 80 votes? Come on people, vote for heavens sake. I know there are a lot of good pics this month, but there has to be one that strikes your fancy.

#9 was unforunately entered by someone who did not take the picture and did not have permission to use it. The photographer is not a member so the picture does not comply with the contest rules for both of these reasons.
