i currently have a paraya, yellow-tail barracuda, needle nose gar, ornate bichir, common pleco, and a stiped rafael cat all within 7-10 inches housed in a 75 gallon. i want them to have enough room to be healthy so i'v decided to upgrade to a 180 gallon. im thinking about getting one last fish and i was really interested in the peacock bass simply because its beautiful and it comes from the Amazon basin like most of my other fish. i want some opinions on if i should do this or maybe get a partner for one of my other fish like the gar or paraya. if you have a suggestion on another type of fish from the amazon please feel free.

I would do a P-bass but keep in mind that a 180 would only be a temp. home for it maybe 2 years give or take before it needs a larger tank. These fish eat a TON and the food bill will be large even if you can get it off of live.

But they are awesome fish and well worth the time and effort

here is a little tease for you

R.I.P my friend :(
