You know what I don't know what that is... I bought it as a pearl striped geophagus. It's very colorfull so I had to have it and I don't even know what it is...LOL
I have 2 ac110 HOB and 2 ac70 PH with sponge filters on them and I also have a regular sponge filter in the corner of the tank.--- Can never have to much filtration right?

pretty sure its the Geophagus brasiliensis, or the pearly eartheater. Nice little fish you got there... Not too many Geos round here. only jurapuri's and theyre too common for my liking... How much was your little thinbar?? NICE TANK.. and im getting a AC110 this week. 39.99!

Always local... Well within a 2 maybe 3 hour drive if its something I really want. I am very fortunate with fish only stores in my area. Within I would say no more then 15 to 20 miles I have 5 great "fish only" stores. Maybe 3 of each petcos and petsmarts too if I need food too.
